The Dept. of Physical Education, Nirmala College, Muvattupuzha (a first grade arts and science college affiliated to M.G. University, Kottayam) was established in 1956 has a rich track record of achievements in sports and games. The major games promoted in the college are football, volleyball, handball and basketball. We have SAI Extension Centre for Football and Day boarding scheme for handball, a standard size stadium, health club with multigym apparatus and sports hostel for boys.
